This track has been buzzing on the Danish radio stations - the guy has good vocal chops and the track itself is really funny. I’m a big fan of funk and mo-town style R&B and he’s squeezes his way into that genre. Listen to the lyrics and check it out on good headphones :).

This Jam was featured on the Knife Party’s live set at UFK’s third birthday party - if you dont have that yet you should and you can download it here http://www.hulkshare.com/vsp4k21tm095
This track starts out sounding really pop-e then breaks down into some pretty dirty dub, then bridge in the middle is what sounds so amazing to me - the vocals and then the drop again… needless to say its been on repeat.
I’m really hoping to party with knives this summer at Center of Gravity !!

So smooth, so disco-y, So nice.
Kendrick is the reviving Pharcyde and Souls of Mischief style hip hop bred in Cali. He’s been picked up by Dre and this song is definitttely a bit more main stream, but his flow is still silky smooth. This is the next generation of Hip hop.
The Recipe (ft. Dr. Dre)-Kendrick Lamar
